Description

Cambridge Week of the Young Child kicks off today with an opening session featuring Dr. Lisa Grant, Executive Director of the Birth to 3rd Grade Partnership, Dr. Michelle Madera, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education, Ellen Semonoff, Assistant City Manager for Department of Human Services Programs, and a special keynote from Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui. Join these City leaders as they share more about the Birth to 3rd Grade Partnership, the week's events, and the City's vision for, and commitment to, early childhood education. Pre-registration is required and a zoom link will be sent one day prior to the event. Some events scheduled for today are:
10:00am  -  11;00am   Mindful Practices for Adults and Children: Preventing burnout and creating more joy throughout the day.
11:30am  -  12:30pm   Loose Parts: Finding Pleasure and Purpose in Loose Part Play for preschool and kindergarten.
