Cambridge Public Library Director Susan Flannery is retiring after 25 years of exceptional services. Come to an Open House to share your stories and bid her farewell. A City Proclamation will be read by Mayor E. Denise Simmons at 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

The Friends of the Cambridge Public Library will host an evening celebration Friday, April 1, from 6-9 p.m., with a presentation at 7:30 p.m. There is a fee for this event and an RSVP is required by March 21, 2016. For more information, call 617-34904032 or visit http://www.cambridgema.gov/cpl
