Description

Presented by Good Egg Marketing

Selling or serving healthy food at your store or restaurant can help you increase sales and attract and retain local customers, but you can't just label a product or dish as "healthy" and expect sales to soar. This workshop will cover how to find out what types of healthy foods are likely to appeal to your current or potential customers and best techniques for displaying and promoting healthy foods. Participants will participate in a brief exercise to map out a plan for launching or expanding their healthy foods program. Everyone will go home with a handout outlining best practices for selling healthy foods and learn about eligibility for in-store consultations and grant opportunities.

Sponsored by the City of Cambridge Community Development Department, Economic Development Division/ All workshops are free for Cambridge residents and business owners unless otherwise noted. Non-eligible participants may pay a small fee per workshop upon attendance.

To pre-register please call Rona Abrahams at 617-349-4637 of Pardis Saffari at 617-349-4654.  To learn more about the City of Cambridge’s business development workshops and programs, visit: www.cambridgema.gov/business.
