      Please register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the event. Porsha Olayiwola is from the future! Black, poet, queer-dyke, hip-hop feminist, womanist: Porsha is a native of Chicago who now resides in Boston. Olayiwola is a writer, performer, educator and curator who uses afro-futurism and surrealism to examine historical and current issues in the Black, woman, and queer diasporas. She is an Individual World Poetry Slam Champion and the artistic director at MassLEAP, a literary youth organization. Olayiwola is an MFA Candidate at Emerson College. Porsha Olayiwola is the author of i shimmer sometimes, too published by Button Poetry and is the current poet laureate for the city of Boston. Photograph by Carlie Febo.

      This two-part workshop offers attendees the opportunity to take an in-person ServSafe training module and then a ServSafe test administered by paper and led by an experienced ServSafe trainer.

    • Virtual Family Story Time

      We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for 20-25 minutes of songs, stories, and rhymes. Caregivers are asked to participate in the program with their children--it will be as important as ever to model movement and song for your little one during this virtual session. Plan to join in, sing along, and move around! Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. Virtual Family Story Time is free and open to the public and is not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others.

      Remote Call-In Meeting (No Video)

      The Cambridge Biosafety Committee meeting meets on a monthly basis so that members may conduct its oversight activities as granted under the Cambridge Recombinant DNA Technology Ordinance (Chapter 8.20) and the Cambridge Biosafety Regulation of 2009. The May meeting will be a remote call-in meeting with no video.
