      (This is a make-up class) Sponsored by the Cambridge Public Library Foundation Join us in this 12-week Tai Chi practice, which focuses on the mind and body connection. Tai Chi is a fluid sequence of movements choreographed in a low impact routine. Sifu Mynor Diaz has been learning and teaching Tai Chi classes for over 20 years. He has taught classes at five VA Boston Healthcare System locations and at Senior Centers. Due to the popularity of this series we expect participants to attend all the classes. This is an in-person event.

Innovators for Purpose (iFp) is a Cambridge-based nonprofit that inspires high-potential, diverse young people to discover their passions, develop innovative mindsets and cultivate marketable skills to solve problems they care most about. Summer Studio teens are funded in part through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program. This will be up to a 20-minute conversation with housing experts to identify next steps for future conversations. Knowing the annual income of your household will assist us in understanding the housing options available to you.     • Community Meeting on Central Square Fatal Shooting

      A community meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in the Cambridge Senior Center at 806 Massachusetts Avenue to discuss an early Thanksgiving morning shooting in the area of 10 Magazine Street in Central Square. A 27-year-old woman was tragically killed and a 26-year-old male suffered non-life threatening injuries. Food and light refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
