During Women's History Month, we focus on women entrepreneurs in the culinary industry. This Cambridge Cooks session welcomes Ayida Solé, chef, author, and activist as shes teaches us how to make DjonDjon ramen. Cambridge Cooks invites local chefs for a free cooking demonstration, followed by a tasting and Q&A with the chef. About the chef: Ayida Solé is a versatile creative, blending her talents as a home cook, author, designer, philanthropist, and brand consultant for emerging businesses, personalities, and luxury brands. Originally from Cambridge, MA, she brings a rich background in both the fashion and culinary industries. As the proud daughter of a Haitian immigrant, Solé made her mark by establishing The Haitian Croissant in 2020 during her time living in Paris, FR. This unique brand serves as a cultural hub, showcasing Haitian heritage through culinary experiences, travel, and design. The platform is an invitation for individuals to immerse themselves in and learn from the vibrant tapestry of the Haitian diaspora.
