Cambridge ranks first among all US cities with 25.6% of residents walking to work, according to new census data released by the League of American Bicyclists and analyzed by America Walks. Across the country over 4 million commuters opted to walk as their primary mode of transportation in 2016, an increase from similar data collected in 2006 and 2011.
