Temporary Changes to Brattle St. Separated Bicycle Lane Will Facilitate Snow Clearance

caution sign The information on this page may be outdated as it was published 6 years ago.

The City has made temporary changes to the separated bicycle lane on Brattle Street to facilitate snow clearance during the winter months. The white flex posts have been temporarily removed and replaced with large traffic cones with heavy bases. These cones will be removed in advance of snow events to facilitate full clearance of snow from the travel, parking, and bicycle lanes. Cones will be placed back in the buffer as soon as possible following a snow event.

The separated bicycle lane will remain open throughout the winter, and flex posts will be re-installed in the spring.
