Business Owners: Equity in Procurement Survey Now Open

The City of Cambridge’s partner, Griffin & Strong, P.C. (GSPC) is conducting a Disparity Study that will review whether there are effects of past discrimination that impact the present way the City procures goods and services. GSPC has created a survey for business owners.

This survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. All businesses can participate in the study survey. It includes questions about:

  • Demographic and statistical information about businesses
  • Operating capacity
  • What is it like doing (or attempting) to do business with the City.

This survey will be open until February 28, 2023 and is available in six languages:

A Disparity Study is a tool to identify opportunities for minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses to do business, with the City. The study will be used to determine whether a sheltered market program – a way of advancing equity in procurement – can be implemented in Cambridge

For questions, or to report technical difficulties with the survey, please contact GSPC at CambridgeMAStudy@GSPCLaw.com.
