The Cambridge Public Health Department's annual flu clinics ended on Nov. 4, 2015.

Starting on Dec. 8, 2015, the Cambridge Public Health Department is offering free flu vaccine to adults and children (age 6 months and older) by appointment only on Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the department's office, 119 Windsor Street, ground level.

FluMist is available for children under age 18.

To schedule an appointment, please call 617-665-3826.

While there is no charge to the public for flu shots, people with health insurance are encouraged to bring their cards with them to the clinics.

Vaccine will be offered as long as supplies last.

Flu vaccine is also available through pharmacies (for adults age 18 and older) and doctors’ offices. Flu shots are covered by most Massachusetts health insurance plans.
