Governor Baker announced that the Commonwealth’s early closing order & stay at home advisory will be rescinded effective 5 a.m. Monday, January 25. The Commonwealth is also extending the 25% capacity limits for most sectors through 5 a.m. on Monday, February 8. Both of the changes announced by the Governor will apply to the City of Cambridge.

The cards validate our intuitive sense of knowing and open us up to greater awareness. By looking inward with a fresh perspective, we grow deeper in understanding of our lives, and gain confidence in walking the path of our destiny. Join tarot teacher, Laura Campagna, for a fun workshop to learn how to read tarot. No experience necessary. Participants will connect with their intuition and gain confidence in reading for themselves or friends. This event is open to both teens and adults. If you have your own tarot deck, please bring it (a limited number of decks will be available). Bring your journal, too, if you'd like to record your insights.

The following report presents an analysis by the Commission on Immigrant Rights & Citizenship (CIRC) of the most pressing needs of Cambridge’s immigrant communities, particularly with regard to legal rights, citizenship and local resources for this information, based upon responses provided at two Focus Groups and through a series of thirty-three individual interviews with Cambridge immigrants, conducted in the winter/spring of 2017.

The City of Cambridge today issued an emergency order allowing restaurants to sell groceries directly to consumers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The order creates a new opportunity for Cambridge residents to purchase surplus items such as meats, vegetables, dairy, canned goods and other limited grocery items through pick-up or delivery service from local restaurants throughout the city.

Youth ages 10-16 are welcome to join for three sessions of cooperative role-play and storytelling as we build out skills playing the table-top game DnD. The first session will include a character-building introduction followed by play continued into the next two sessions. No prior DnD experience is required, and experienced players are also welcome to join. Registration is required, as the program is capped at 8 players. Please plan to attend all sessions! Curtis Preston, 32, Everett, was arrested this morning in Boston. He will face multiple charges out of Cambridge after a warrant was issued for his arrest, including Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Possession a Firearm without an FID Card, and Possession of a Firearm During Intimidation of a Witness.
