Citizen Observer is a service used by the Cambridge Police Department to send e-mail and text alerts about crime and other notifications to the various neighborhoods of the City.

The Cambridge Neighborhood Service Project (NSP) is a community-based service learning project for youth aged 14-15 to introduce them to the world of work through participation in community service learning.

Calendar event for the Cambridge Preservation Awards program on June 12, 2025

Highlights include: Completion of the Drainage and Community Gardens project at Fresh Pond Reservation; drainage improvements along the Hobbs Brook Reservoir dam crest (Winter St) in Waltham; proposed, completed, and active development and redevelopment projects along Smith Street, Wyman Street, Second Avenue, Bear Hill Road, and Winter Street in Waltham; and active construction of a new Minuteman Vocational Technical High School in Lincoln.

There are programs which we undertake such as creating charging stations for electric cars, doing bike promotions and education, crating a pedestrian plan and working to place bus shelters at busy stops.
