Partial Roadway Paving Enhancements Scheduled for October 2022
Beginning October 17th, weather permitting, the City’s contractor, E J Paving, will be performing partial roadway grinding and paving operations to enhance the road conditions on several sections of street around the City. The roadway grinding operation at each location is expected take two days followed by paving of the roadway later that same week, or the following week (weather permitting). Memorial Drive Shooting Under Investigation
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Massachusetts State Police Colonel Geoffrey Noble and Acting Police Commissioner Pauline Wells have confirmed the ongoing investigation into a shooting that occurred this afternoon on Memorial Drive in Cambridge between River Street and Pleasant Street Extension.

The Urban Agriculture Task Force is developing an ordinance that includes 1) zoning to explicitly allow agricultural activities, and, 2) regulations to support and limit activities.

June 26 to 29 Road Closures
The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events, including the City Dance Party and the Summer Classic 5K.
