A 12-week series of beginner's classes with instruction from Comedian Jack Simon. Learn how to seamlessly integrate interactive improv games, scenes, and skillful storytelling that all come together with performance. This will be an in-person program at the Main Library. Space is limited to 15 participants. Due to the popularity and to gain the most out of this program, we expect all participants to commit to all sessions in this 12-week course. The City of Cambridge launched the 10th Cycle of Participatory Budgeting and collected over 1,100 ideas from the community between September 11 – October 9, 2023, about how to spend $2 million on projects to improve Cambridge.

Provide much needed supplies for previously unhoused Cambridge residents to set up their home in their new apartment. Upon leasing, these residents will receive a Home Furnishings Kit which will include bed, bath, and kitchen essentials.

Access to bicycle safety equipment for youth will enable more people to enjoy this healthy activity. It will also relieve some of the stress on public transportation, while decreasing the city’s carbon and toxic gas emissions.

The Cambridge Youth Council (CYC) has created a new mural in the CRLS Cafeteria. The mural aims to highlight the value of diversity by depicting people from different cultures coming together and appreciating one another's company. 

The Cambridge Community Preservation Act Committee is soliciting project proposals for funding consideration for the FY2025 funding cycle. Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds can be used for affordable housing, open space, and historic preservation projects.
