Harvard Book Store, the Harvard University Division of Science, the Harvard Library, Long Now Boston, and the Cambridge Public Library welcome Lisa S. Gardiner—science writer, geoscientist, educator, and author of Tales from an Uncertain World: What Other Assorted Disasters Can Teach Us about Climate Change—for a discussion of her book Reefs of Time: What Fossils Reveal about Coral Survival.

Live at the Library: Music Class with Music at the Blissful (Collins)
This school vacation week, join musician Evan Haller of Music at the Blissful for an interactive music class. Through singing, movement and playful engagement, every child is invited to participate at their own level.
Music at the Blissful presents music classes that not only entertain young minds but support early childhood development to grow mentally, physically and emotionally.
Recommended for children ages birth-7 with their caregivers.
Speed Hump Program
The City of Cambridge is expanding its traffic calming program by adding speed humps on primarily residential streets to help manage vehicle speeds and improve safety for all.

Chess Hour (Boudreau)
Come join us at the Boudreau branch for a chess challenge. Players of all skill levels and all ages are welcome to participate.
Chess sets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. This is not an instructional class, but rather a gathering for individuals who want to play and test their skills against other members of the community.
There's no need to register in advance - simply drop by and challenge yourself to improve your mastery of this classic game!
