CPHD Urges Continued COVID-19 Precautions
Although mask orders are no longer in effect, many people in Cambridge continue to mask up in indoor settings and on public transportation. We are experiencing an increase in COVID-19 cases both regionally and in the city, and taking measures to protect yourself is a smart choice.
Cambridge Community Foundation, City of Cambridge award $257,500 in grants to arts and culture organizations, hard-hit by the pandemic
The Cambridge Community Foundation and the City of Cambridge have awarded a total of $257,500 in grants to 25 Cambridge-based arts and cultural organizations through the Cultural Capital Fund. Created in late October with a founding $500,000 gift from the Mayor’s Disaster Relief Fund and a $100,000 investment from the Wagner Foundation, the fund was established to address urgent needs in the sector due to COVID-19 and to protect the city’s cultural richness over the long term.
Cambridge College Success Initiative Celebrates 10 Years
The Cambridge College Success Initiative (CS) was created in 2014 to advance the college completion rate of Cambridge residents who are historically underrepresented in higher education, including immigrants, first-generation students, and students from low-income households.
