The Wastewater and Stormwater Management Guidance document was developed to provide guidance for construction projects and development and redevelopment projects in the City of Cambridge (City) to ensure that measures are taken throughout the project to address erosion, nonpoint source pollution, and flood control.

This will be a virtual community meeting for the study of city-owned property in Central Square. We will present draft recommendations for the future uses of the sites based on community feedback and input, as well as municipal needs. The City of Cambridge is canceling all City-sponsored Halloween events and will not be issuing street closure, block party, or park permits this year for community events in order to help prevent large groups from congregating in close proximity.

Cambridge has joined a growing global movement of cities supporting sustainable, plant-based food systems in order to combat climate change and promote public health. The City Council unanimously endorsed the global Plant Based Treaty, following Los Angeles and 64 other cities around the world.

The New Lease Rent Relief Grant offers funds to assist with Cambridge small businesses with commercial rent. The goal of this program is to help fund small businesses in revitalizing commercial districts left with vacant storefronts due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects.
