The Halloween season offers a variety of fun events for children, youth and families across the City of Cambridge. Various city departments will be sponsoring Halloween events in Cambridge. For general Halloween safety, all kids are reminded to wear reflective colors, carry a flashlight when it gets dark, and use extra caution crossing streets. Young children should be accompanied by an adult or a responsible older kid. Additionally, Cambridge Police Officers will be out in various areas of the city engaging with people in the community who are out trick or treating.

The Cambridge Small Business Operations Grant is a grant program providing commercial rent, mortgage, payroll relief as well as operating or equipment expenses to Cambridge small businesses as they continue to grow and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Cambridge YWCA completed a multi-year renovation of its 103-unit property on Temple Street in Central Square in 2013. The property consists of two buildings, Main and Tanner, both of which were in need of substantial renovation.

May Selection: The World Central Kitchen Cookbook: feeding humanity, feeding hope Join friends and neighbors for a potluck! Try a recipe and bring your results or thoughts to share and discuss with other cooks. All experience levels welcome. No need to bring a dish to join. Books will be available for pick up at the Boudreau and Collins Branches during library hours. This event will take place indoors at the Collins Branch (64 Aberdeen Ave). A Gmail (Google) account is required for the class. Please remember your Gmail and password, you will need them to sign in and practice during the class. Laptops will be provided for the class.
