The planning team will share recommendations developed with the community over the course of the sixteen-month planning process that will help to Make Mass Ave more beautiful, produce more housing , provide more neighborhood amenities, support small businesses, and improve sidewalks and walkability

We will be hosting our first working group meeting for the Mass Ave Planning Study on Wednesday, February 7 at 6 PM. The meeting will serve as an introduction to the project; an opportunity for working group members to learn more about the process; and a chance for any members of the public to ask initial questions for the planning team. This meeting will be held via Zoom.

You’re invited to our November Brewery Book Club, where Lamplighter and the Cambridge Public Library team up to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices while having a beer. We meet at Lamplighter Brewing Co., 284 Broadway, in the back taproom. This month we’ll read We Will be Jaguars: A Memoir of My People by Nemonte Nenquimo. Join the Cambridge Bicycle Committee and the Department of Transportation in saying hello to our animal neighbors on this year's annual Spring Community Bicycle Ride: The Cambridge Critters Cruise!

This study was commissioned by the Cambridge Community Development Department in response to a request from the North Cambridge Stabilization Committee (NCSC) to study safety issues around the MBTA Commuter Rail tracks in North Cambridge. A number of the Appendices to the report are also available.

The health and safety of the Cambridge community is our top priority during this unprecedented time. While many of the city’s food pantries have temporarily closed, we are working to ensure that Cambridge residents have access to food during the COVID-19 outbreak.

In observance of the Presidents Holiday on Monday, February 20, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed. Curbside trash, recycling, and compost collection will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind for the rest of the week.
