Report of the Green Ribbon Open Space Committee, 2000

The Green Building/Zoning Task Force was appointed by the City Manager in April 2008 to work with City staff and analyze various approaches and to encourage energy efficient building practices.

The YMCA sold the Central House, a 128-unit SRO facility for men, to Caritas Communities. The property was rehabbed and improved.

The Green Street Garage will be closed to hourly parkers due to construction related to the River Street Reconstruction Project. This closure is from Wednesday, November 5 to Friday, November 7.

Halloween Open House - 2023

The Green Building and Zoning Task Force analyzed various approaches and to encourage energy efficient building practices.

The Cambridge Department of Public Works invites you to attend our open house to learn about the Port Infrastructure Improvements Project. The evening includes presentations, a chance to engage with project staff and plans, free pizza, kids’ activities, and more.

At the Open House the draft Bike Network Plan will be shared, along with additional information about input made over the past couple of months.

The City will be hosting a Conceptual Design Open House to review early design ideas.
