Overall Cambridge Arts and the City are distributing more than $300,000 to 60 artists, cultural organizations and grant reviewers via grants and stipends this year through three funding opportunities offered by Cambridge Arts: Organizational Investment Grants, Art for Social Justice Grants, and Local Cultural Council Project Grants.

The $7,500 grants from Cambridge Arts and the City of Cambridge support projects that present the themes and ongoing work of social justice to the Cambridge public through the arts.;

911 is for emergencies only. 911 Dispatchers answer both 911 calls as well as general or business calls made to the Cambridge Police and Cambridge Fire business numbers (617-349-3300 for Police and 617-349-4900 for Fire) as well as other public safety non-911 numbers. The Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship (CIRC) created a New Resident Guide to serve as a resource for new arrivals in Cambridge. This overview provides information on key, Cambridge-specific providers in the service areas most commonly needed by new immigrants.

The Department of Transportation is planning separated bike lanes and related street safety improvements on Main Street, from Technology Square to Ames Street, in Fall 2026.
