Cambridge teens ages 14–19 can participate in exciting skill-based workshops and field trips on weekday evenings from 6-9 p.m. at Cambridge Youth Centers.

The Clinic is held virtually on the third Wednesday of every month. Callers leave a message with their information. De Novo staff screen the messages and assign callers to volunteer attorneys based on practice area and language, when possible. Volunteer attorneys then provide brief advice, screen for immigration legal needs, and refer to additional legal resources if appropriate. De Novo immigration attorneys provide supervisory support.

You’re invited to our May Brewery Book Club, where Lamplighter and the Cambridge Public Library team up to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices while having a beer. We meet at Lamplighter Brewing Co., 284 Broadway, in the back taproom. This month we’ll read Women's Hotel by Daniel M. Lavery. Copies of the book are available at the Main Library in Cambridge, at 449 Broadway. The e-book and digital audiobook can be borrowed through the Libby app. We’ll gather in the Lamplighter back taproom to discuss the book, what we learned from it, what we found ourselves touched by, and all other thoughts. Expand swim hours on weekends at the War Memorial pools for three years. Saturday evenings would open an hour later, and Sunday mornings would open an hour earlier. This proposal will fund the operating expenses for extended swimming time.

The City of Cambridge launched the 10th Cycle of Participatory Budgeting and collected over 1,100 ideas from the community between September 11 – October 9, 2023, about how to spend $2 million on projects to improve Cambridge.

The Cambridge City Council will continue to hold regular meetings. Members of the public cannot be physically present during the meeting, but can watch it meeting on the Municipal Channel 22-CityView or online via the City of Cambridge Open Meeting Portal at www.cambridgema.gov

Let’s support new parents! Baby supplies are expensive and caring for a newborn is hard. This proposal will provide baby supplies for to new parents and promote information on community resources to help ease the transition into parenting.
