Come on by this citywide K–8 family STEAM night sponsored by the Cambridge STEAM Initiative. There are over 30 hands on activities for all school age children to engage in!

This project would fund rapid flashing beacons at 10 high pedestrian risk crosswalks. These beacons increase the visibility of pedestrians, especially at night. They can alert drivers to crossing pedestrians, thereby preventing crashes.

Pre-registration Required. The four-week workshop will cover a variety of topics including: an overview of the home buying process, credit & budgeting, obtaining a mortgage, legal issues, home inspections, and an introduction to Cambridge's financial assistance programs. Classes include a combination of presentations by Cambridge homebuyer cunselors, local real estate brokers, home inspectors and loan officers. Participants are expected to attend all four classes and class begins promptly at 6:00pm.

Cambridge, MA - Free Emergency Vehicle Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Facility at 125 6th Street in Cambridge.

The co-ed, outdoor league, open to Cambridge youth ages 8-12, gives players a chance to learn about hockey, sharpen their skills, and have fun! New and experienced players are welciome.

Join us for a walk at Fresh Pond as we explore the wonderful world of bugs! We will learn about some common local insects, arachnids, and other invertebrates, and get to know some plants that host lots of bug species. This program is open to all ages, from adults to children and their caregivers. Registration is required. Eversource Gas Partial Paving Beginning April 24th Beginning April 24th, weather permitting, Eversource Gas and their subcontractor, EJ Paving, will be performing partial roadway paving on several sections of streets around the city.
