A changing climate means that winters in Massachusetts are getting weird. Hear from some of Cambridge's sustainability experts on the ways climate change is affecting our winter weather -- and how to best prepare your home or apartment for colder weather while saving money. Students, families, and the community are invited to get their free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the King Open School located at 850 Cambridge Street. In 2024, the Cambridge Public Library revealed the top 10 most borrowed books, with The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store by James McBride leading the fiction category, while The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt topped nonfiction. The children's book Dog Man: The Scarlett Shedder was the most popular among young readers. March saw the highest number of checkouts, contributing to a total of nearly 1.1 million books borrowed that year.

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout Memorial Day weekend due to two significant events on May 23-25, 2025.
