The Personnel Department provides a variety of support to current, retired and future employees.

The following documents are used when drafting a request for proposals for architect and engineering services. These documents are used when selecting an architect to work on a building project estimated to cost over $100,000.00 or when the services are estimated to cost more than $10,000.00. These documents can also be used when choosing a designer or engineer for a non-building project, except where noted.

To understand our impact on climate change and measure progress over time, Cambridge has committed to doing a greenhouse gas inventory of its emissions at least every five years. This information helps the City understand where emissions are coming from, identify the biggest opportunities to reduce them, and guide the policies and programs that support our goal of reaching net zero emissions by 2050.

Cambridge Arts is looking for people to help evaluate this year's cultural grant applications.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Spelling Bee. The spelling bee aims to enhance the spelling and vocabulary skills of contestants while promoting reading, writing, and appreciation for the power of words. Community members are invited to attend the finals to provide support and cheer on contestants. Join the Cambridge STEAM Initiative and other partners at the annual Community Astronomy Night event to explore the night sky, guided by high school interns from the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian Science Research Mentoring Program. Through the Main Street Safety Improvement Project, the City will add separated bike lanes to Main Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Portland Street, creating a more-comfortable bike connection between the Port and Central Square.
