Walk-in access by the public is available Monday through Friday during regular City business hours (Monday, 8:30am-8pm, Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30am-5pm, and Friday, 8:30am-12pm), and in-person public appointments continue to be offered by many departments.

This month's book is Hoops by Matt Tavares, a historical fiction graphic novel follows the story of a girl’s basketball team in the 1970’s as they fight for the same treatment that the boy’s team receives. Both caregiver and child should read the book before the discussion to participate. Registration is required — only one registration is needed per family. The Cambridge Police Department offers a free Child Safety Seat Installation and Inspection service to help residents properly install car seats, booster seats, and seatbelts. Trained officers inspect seats, provide guidance, and may supply free car seats to families in need, all to ensure children are traveling safely and legally under Massachusetts law.
