People and pets should avoid contact with the Alewife Brook and parts of the Mystic River from January 26-28 due to the release of stormwater mixed with sewage into the brook.

Road closures include Sidney St from Franklin St to Pacific St, from 9:00-10:30 a.m., and Franklin St, from Brookline St to Sidney St from 9:15-10:30 a.m.
