Central Square Book Group (Central Square)
Join the Central Square Book Group!
This month, we're reading A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman in honor of Meet Your Neighbor month. Meet Your Neighbor Month is organized by the Cambridge Peace Commission every year. The 2026 theme, Stories We Share: The Courage to Connect, is inspired by Welcoming America's Welcoming Week, reminds us that meaningful connections often begin by listening to and learning from one another.
Copies will be available for pickup at the Branch.

Flexible Parking Corridors
These changes are intended to reduce the impact of on-street parking removal as the City continues to build out bike and bus networks.

Science and Conservation
Our public art collection reflects the growth of technology that continues to expand the contemporary artist's palette, which can include different metal alloys, plastics, paint, glass, water, or new media. Through our applied science practice we assist that exploration of new public art materials, and research best conservation materials for treatment and care.
Neighborhood Potluck (O'Connell)
Join neighbors and friends at the O'Connell Branch Library for a community Potluck. Bring a dish if you would like, or simply come and enjoy!
If you know what you plan to bring, please coordinate with branch staff by stopping by the branch or calling 617-349-4019.
RSVPs helpful.
