Community Update from City Manager Huang
The City of Cambridge is fully committed to acting with urgency on the actions recommended by the City Council following the tragic death of Arif Sayed Faisal. As the City implements these recommendations, the City Manager is providing this update to share our commitments so far to the Council and our community.

Raymond Park Renovation Project
Raymond Park, located at 106 Raymond Street in Neighborhood Nine, is scheduled for renovations beginning in November 2025. Planned improvements include:
Improved circulation and more accessible pathways
New playground equipment
An expanded basketball court
Drainage improvements and rain gardens
Additional seating and gathering areas
New trees and plantings

Shots Fired Incident on Sherman St
On Friday, October 24th CPD responded to a shots fired incident on Sherman St. CPD Detectives are looking to speak with a person of interest and anyone else with information.
Our Favorite Trees
In honor of the upcoming Arbor Day, the Department of Public Works has released a new story map highlighting Our Favorite Trees.

Donate your gently used jigsaw puzzles and browse a collection of fun new puzzles to take home! Puzzles of all sizes for all ages are welcome.
No more than 5 puzzles per donation when you drop off in advance. You may donate ONLY 1 puzzle at the swap itself.
Donation policy:
Make sure your puzzle has all the pieces
Rubber band or tape the box so it won't fall open
Drop off puzzles at the Main Library Q&A desk Thursday October 9 - Wednesday October 15
