The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and traffic impacts July 19 due to The Port Community Pride event.

PARK SOUNDS 2025 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages. A site-based assessment team from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), will arrive on Monday, August 18th through Thursday, August 21st to examine all aspects of the Cambridge Police Department policy and procedures, management, operations, and support services. Verification by the team that the Cambridge Police Department meets the Commission’s state-of-the-art standards is part of a voluntary process to gain accreditation – a highly prized recognition of public safety professional excellence.
