Water Board Members
The Cambridge Water Board is a five member board of Cambridge residents appointed by the City Manager, that act in an advisory role to the Managing Director of the Water Department. The Managing Director has full power to make all necessary repairs, extensions or improvements on the works, and to provide new supply pipes. All hydrants, standpipes and drinking fountains, established by the City, shall be constructed, and all repairs upon such hydrants, standpipes and drinking fountains made, and the streets repaired under authority of the Managing Director.
Cambridge Senior Center
Located at 806 Massachusetts Ave., the Cambridge Senior Center offers programming, events, lunches, and recreational options to Cambridge residents age 60 and older.
Blanchard Road
Blanchard Road from Concord Avenue to Grove Street was fully reconstructed with new sidewalks, bike lanes and a raised intersection at Glenn Road.
Disability Friendly Vaccine Clinics October 19 and November 16
These clinics will have extra staff on hand to provide skilled support to both children and adults with disabilities and/or sensory support needs. Clinics will offer flu and COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 6 months and up, as well as adult vaccines and boosters. People with and without disabilities can get vaccinated at these clinics.
Thank a Dispatcher as Part of National Telecommunicators Week April 13-19
As part of this year’s National Telecommunicators Week celebration, Emergency Communications is looking to hear from the community and better understand how dispatchers have helped residents. The Department is asking residents to submit a write-up on support they received from a dispatcher or just provide words of encouragement or gratitude for the work that dispatchers do.

Coolidge Place Land Disposition
Cambridge is undertaking a process to consider disposition of public land on Coolidge Place, in Central Square near Massachusetts Avenue and Douglass Street.

The Clarendon Avenue Playground will undergo targeted repair work and equipment upgrades to improve play conditions for and the safety of its users.
