The Cambridge Police Department, Middlesex District Attorney's Office, and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office have launched an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased individual with an apparent gunshot near the intersection of Broadway & Norfolk Street. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Cambridge Police Department at (617) 349-3300. Anonymous tips can be shared with the Cambridge Police Department through phone, text or e-mail.

This project consists of an underground wet weather storage tank and City facility to serve the growing needs of the City. The project is located at the recently acquired 135 Sherman Street parcel.

The Community Preservation Act (CPA) helps cities and towns preserve the character of their community. A 3% CPA surcharge is included with Property Tax bills to fund affordable housing, open space, and historic preservation projects.

In a continued collective effort to halt the spread of COVID-19, the City today issued a temporary emergency order that restricts customers at essential retail establishments from using reusable bags after purchasing retail products.
