A collaborative program between Center for Families and Agenda for Children Literacy Initiative designed to ensure Cambridge fathers and father figures are engaged, informed, and supported through events, workshops, and other initiatives.

This year marked the 33rd anniversary of the City Scholarship Awards Program. Cambridge awarded 86 scholarships of $3,000 each to Cambridge high school seniors and others pursuing post-secondary education.

The Office of Planning, Budget & Personnel Department ensures that the department has a competent and diverse workforce that can work well to meet the City's goals as well as manage the department's budget.

This will be an all day event with street closure in front of 260 Walden St., from Garden St. to Sherman St.

Join the Center for Families for family-friendly crafts, stories, and activities. The event will include pizza and every child gets a free book! Open to Cambridge families with children ages 2-8.

The following events that are scheduled for this weekend (July 26-28) are expected to have street closures and/or traffic impacts.

Expect a brief road closure and traffic delays on Sunday, November 20, due to the East Cambridge Business Association’s Chicken Run.

This session will share important updates for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients, including: How to renew your TPS Work permit and travel information Legal supports and available resources You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and connect with local organizations that can help with ongoing support. Raymond Park, located at 106 Raymond Street in Neighborhood Nine, is scheduled for renovations beginning in November 2025. Planned improvements include: Improved circulation and more accessible pathways New playground equipment An expanded basketball court Drainage improvements and rain gardens Additional seating and gathering areas New trees and plantings Learn more about the community and design process here.

Organizations interested in submitting proposals should submit a one-page Letter of Interest noting the funding category, estimated amount of requested funding, and a brief description of the project to dliss@cambridgema.gov by Friday, July 11, 2025.
