Resident Parking and Visitor Parking Permit application portal



Cambridge residents may use this website to apply for 2024 Resident Parking Permits and/or 2024 Visitor Parking Permits.

  • Apply for or renew your permit online by March 1, 2024 to ensure that you receive your permit in the mail by April 1, 2024. If you don't apply online by March 1, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your permit by April 1.
  • Between January 2 and April 1, 2024, you may use either a 2023 or 2024 parking permit to park in areas with signs that say "Parking by Permit Only."
  • Beginning on April 1, 2024, you must display a 2024 parking permit to park in areas with signs that say "Parking by Permit Only."

When applying for a Cambridge parking permit, please keep in mind:

  • We will not issue you a parking permit if you have unpaid parking tickets.
  • Starting in 2024, we will only issue up to four Resident Parking Permits per person.
  • You may only use a Resident Parking Permit on a vehicle intended for personal use.

How to use this website:

  • This website will time out after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  • You cannot save your application. If you stop before submitting your application, you must start over.
  • As you proceed through the application, make sure to read the instructions on each page.

Service fees: Credit and debit card payments have a service fee of 2.95% with a minimum fee of $2.25 per transaction. Payments from bank accounts have a service fee of $0.40 per transaction. You can find other ways to submit your application on our Parking Permit page.
