Description

In Celebration of National Consumer Protection Week Mar. 1-7, 2020.  the Cambridge Consumer's Council, in association with the MA Department of Telecommunication/Cable, and the Cambridge Council on Aging will be hosting these open hours for residents to stop by to discuss any type of consumer issues, or learn more about potential scams via phone and email.

Also, the Cambridge Consumers’ Council, the Council on Aging and the Cambridge Police Department will be hosting a Safeguard Against Scams Panel Discussion Thursday, Mar. 5, from 12-1:30 p.m., at the Cambridge Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave. The program will focus on how consumers can protect themselves against different types of scams, with a special focus on grandparent and IRS scams.
