The Chair reasonably expects the Commission will vote on the below without public testimony:

MALT & WINE LICENSES WITH OR WITHOUT ENTERTAINMENT:

1. Kim Courtney, has applied for (4) malt and wine license to be exercised at United American Veterans, 1 Cedar Street, Wagner Hall, Cambridge, on 5/5/16, 5/12/16, 5/19/16 and 5/26/16 from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. for a tasting/food and beverage event. Expected attendance up to 50 people.

2. Ann Holland, has applied for (2) malt and wine license to be exercised at Workbar, 45 Prospect Street, Cambridge, on 5/16/16 & 5/18/16 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. for a Networking and fundraiser event. Expected attendance – 120 people.

3. Solomon Nere, has applied for a malt and wine license with entertainment (Patrons dancing) at St. Paul AME Church Christian Life Center, 85 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, on 6/11/16 from 6:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. for a graduation party. Expected attendance – 200 people.

4. Philip Chaves, on behalf of St. Anthony’s Parish, has applied for (6) malt and wine license with entertainment (Patrons dancing, Performers/entertainers dancing, Recorded/live music and Amplification system) at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue, Cambridge, on 5/14-15/16; 5/20-22/16; 5/28-29/16; 6/11-12/16; 6/18/16 and 6/19/16 for their annual feast.

5. Arlyn DePagter, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at MIT E62 Executive Education Suite Lounge, 100 Main Street, on 5/29/16 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. for a reception. Expected attendance – 68 people.

6. Arlyn DePagter, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at MIT Trust Center, 1 Amherst Street, Cambridge, on 6/2/16 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Expected attendance – 68 people.



Amendments to Exiting License:

1. Matter previously deferred -- HAS Food Park, LLC d/b/a Naco Taco, 279 Massachusetts Avenue, for a vintage bike show on May 14, 2016 from 4 pm to 1 am; closing off Village Street, a private way owned by MIT, for service of food and alcohol. Access to the street is only through the restaurant.

2. Tarek Abdel Monein, authorized representative of Alexandra Falafel, LLC, has filed a waiver for failure to timely renew their CV license at 81/2 Eliot Street.

3. Seth Gerber, on behalf of Café Art Science has applied for a One Day Amendment to Existing License at 650 E. Kendall Street, on May 4, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm for a cocktail reception with 175 people expected.

4. Chad Bennett, on behalf of John Moriarity and Associates has applied for a Special Noise Variance to be exercised from May 14, 2016 through May 15, 2016 from 10:00 pm until 12:00 pm. For a mini excavator with rubber tracks, tow nehind generator, rubber tire backhoe and gas powered chop saw.
