Description

Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus performs Mendelssohn’s ‘Hymn of Praise.’ His most ambitious symphonic achievement, it was wildly popular during his lifetime. It is a display of the rich traditions of the German symphony and cantata. ‘Hymn’ and his ‘Psalm 13, Lord, How Long Wilt Thou Forget Me?’ will be performed in English. 
Grand Harmonie, on period instruments, accompany us, as do professional soloists; Elisa Sunshine, soprano, Rebecca Krouner, mezzo-soprano, and Steven Myles, tenor.
