Description

The City of Cambridge invites you to a virtual public meeting to discuss the Tobin Montessori and Vassal Lane Schools Project on Thursday, May 6th. There will be a video presentation from 5:30-6pm followed by a Q&A from 6-8pm.

The presentation will also be posted to the project page on Monday, May 3rd, so that residents can submit questions in advance and join the Thursday, May 6th meeting at 6pm for the Q&A portion, if they wish. Questions may also be submitted live during the meeting.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

The project is currently in the Design Development phase. At this point, the design of the building and surrounding site is being further refined and initial colors, materials and layouts are being developed.

The focus for this meeting will be to:

  • Introduce the teams from the City of Cambridge, W.T. Rich and CDM Smith who will be onsite throughout the construction.
  • Discuss construction impacts including dust, noise, traffic, vibrations, soil management and overall site conditions.
  • Provide an anticipated timeline for construction activities.
  • Provide a brief design update
