Description
A few weeks ago, residents were notified about the final City functions that were occurring at the King Open/Cambridge Street Upper Schools, Valente Library, and Gold Star Pool. Since receiving that notice, the site perimeter fence and site trailers for the Construction Manager and City site staff have begun being erected to prepare for the first construction phase of the project – the abatement and demolition of the existing buildings.
The City of Cambridge and the Construction Manager, Rich – KBE King School Joint Venture, would like to invite you to a meeting to introduce the staff who will be on site daily and who will serve as points of contact during the construction phases of the project should you have any questions or concerns regarding the ongoing activities.
This meeting will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Frisoli Youth Center.
Staff in attendance will be presenting and discussing the following topics:
• Overall site security, site access, and construction traffic flow
• Hours of construction operation
• Parking
• Rodent control
• Construction schedule
• Basketball courts
• Picnic area relocation
• Contact information for City and Construction Management Staff
Please Note: Staff will not be presenting any design status information during this meeting. On Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Frisoli Youth Center (6:30 – 8:00 pm), the design team and the City will be holding a community meeting to present an update on all aspects of the project design. Your attendance and participation at this meeting are encouraged and appreciated.
