FOR MATTERS TO BE VOTED UPON ON
APRIL 12, 2016, 8:00 A.M. AT LOMBARDI BUILDING

The following are matters which the Chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed and/or voted upon by the Board without public testimony on the above-indicated date, time and location:


MALT & WINE LICENSES WITH OR WITHOUT ENTERTAINMENT:

1. Brad Hartman, has applied for a malt and wine license with entertainment (music and dancing) to be exercised at Winthrop House Courtyard/Common Room, 32 Mill Street, Cambridge, on 4/30/16 from 9:00 p.m. – 1:15 a.m. for a spring formal. Expected attendance – 500 people.


2. Molly Stansik, has applied for a malt and wine license with entertainment (music, dancing and a light show) to be exercised at Leverett House Courtyard, 8 Mill Street, Cambridge, on 5/1/16 from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. for a formal dance. Expected attendance – 300 people.


3. Nicholas Moreira, has applied for a malt and wine license with entertainment (music, dancing and light show) to be exercised at Kirkland House Courtyard/JCR, 95 Dunster Street, Cambridge, on 5/2/16 from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. for a formal dance. Expected attendance – 250 people.


4. Kent Leung, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at Boston Dog Company, 2512 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, on 4/30/16 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. for a fundraiser. Expected attendance – 10 people.


5. Peter DeVito, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at Cambridgeside Galleria, 100 Cambridgeside Place 3rd level, Cambridge, on 4/27/16 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for a Blogger event. Expected attendance – 50 people.


6. Liam Coughlan has applied for a wine and malt license to be exercised on May 5, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Olecito, 11 Springfield Street with 50 people expected.





ENTERTAINMENT LICENSES ONLY:

1. Pedro Polanco, has applied for an entertainment license to provide dancing for patrons, recorded/live music and amplification system for a party at MIT-Sala de Puerto Rico, 84 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, on 4/17/16 from 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Expected attendance – 500 people.


2. Luke Leafgren, has applied for an entertainment license to provide dancing for patrons, recorded/live music, and amplification system for a party at Mather House, 10 Cowperthwaite Street, Cambridge, on 5/2/16 from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. Expected attendance – 200 people.


3. Jesse Billingham, has applied for an entertainment license to provide recorded/live music for an Outreach event at tennis courts in front of the CRLS field house, Cambridge, on 4/16/16 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Expected attendance – 8000 people.


4. Soyoun Song, on behalf of the Newtowne School, has applied for an entertainment license to provide recorded/live music and amplification system for a fundraiser/fair including several games (list on file) at Newtowne School, 11 Garden Street, Cambridge, on 5/7/16 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Expected attendance – 200 people.

5. Kathryn Caponera has applied for an entertainment license to be exercised at 20 Quincy Street on April 16, 2016 from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. for a reception with 120 people expected.

6. Elizabeth Sultcase has applied for an entertainment license (music and dancing) on April 15, 2016 at 52 Oxford Street, Cambridge, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

ALL ALCOHLIC BEVERAGES LICENSES WITH OR WITHOUT ENTERTAINMENT:

1. Father Charles Collins has applied for an all alcoholic beverages license to be exercised at St. John’s Church, 2254 Mass. Ave. on April 16, 2016 from 5:15 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. with 250 people expected, for their annual fundraiser.




VENDOR LICENSES:


1. Boutros and Ahlam, Couscous Kitchen, has applied to vend on April 16, 2016 on Broadway in front of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.



ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS:


1. Vote deferred on 4/5/16 as to Cambridge 1 Associates LT, d/b/a Cambridge 1 Associates LTD Partnership, 35 Cambridgepark Drive Waiver of Hearing on Failure to Timely Renew 2015 Garage License. Record reviewed, no previous violations.

2. Vote deferred on April 5, 2016 Room for Dessert, LLC d/b/a Finale Desserterie, has applied for a new Common Victualler All Alcoholic Beverages License to be exercised at 30 Dunster Street with proposed hours of 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. seven days per week, Paul Conforti, proposed manager of record. The premise is described as: Kitchen, dining room, bar on the first floor; storage in the basement. Seasonal patio on private property.

3. Vote deferred on April 5, 2016 Clover Fast Food, Inc. d/b/a Clover Fast Food, 302 Elm Street, holder of a Common Victualler Malt Only License for alleged violations of Cambridge Municipal Code Noise Ordinance 8.16.080-Non-Measured Noise Disturbance.
