Description

Under the direction of Cynthia Woods, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra celebrates two monumental Russian composers at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium on March 20, 2016. We welcome back acclaimed pianist Alexander Korsantia for Sergei Prokofiev’s brilliant Piano Concerto No. 3 — one of the most challenging, virtuosic concertos in the piano repertoire. On the second half of the program, the CSO returns to the works of Dmitri Shostakovich with his Symphony No. 10.
