Description

Binney Street Park is bound by Binney Street, Galileo Galilei Way, Broadway, and the Grand Junction rail corridor. Binney Street Park will include a segment of the planned Grand Junction Greenway shared use path, a fenced dog run, and a hardscape plaza. Triangle Park is located between Edwin H. Land Boulevard, First Street and Binney Street. Triangle Park will feature a hardscape plaza with a variety of seating, a passive water plaza feature, landscape planting, and an overlook with a view to the Charles River. The park designs and refinements have been guided by the Eastern Cambridge/Kendall Open Space Study/Connect Kendall Square Open Space Competition and Framework Plan, and shaped by input from the community. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, visit www.cambridge.gov/kendallopenspace, or contact Gary Chan at gchan@cambridgema.gov or 617/349-4603.
