In partnership with City Hall and the Mayor’s Office, the Public Health Department will be memorializing Cambridge residents lost to overdose in 2022 to commemorate International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD). Please join us on City Hall lawn on Thursday, August 31st at 3 p.m. for the IOAD event and help us both remember those we’ve lost and embrace our shared hope of recovery for people living with substance use disorder.

If you or a loved one need help or support with recovery, free and confidential help is available 24/7 through the Massachusetts Substance Use Helpline, 800-327-5050. The Cambridge Public Health Department also offers free naloxone and overdose prevention education
