We are now accepting returns of any Minuteman Library Network materials at the O'Connell Branch, generally Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Leave your items in the Book Drop, located near the entrance to the parking lot on Thorndike Street.
It may take up to one week for items to be removed from your card. During the COVID-19 crisis, no overdue fines are being charged on any materials checked out of Cambridge Public Library locations.
You may also return any Minuteman Library Network materials via the Main Library outside book drop (available 24/7). We are also offering limited return hours at other branch locations, subject to scheduling changes. Put on your dancing shoes! We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for 20-25 minutes of wiggling, dancing, and Sing-Along favorites.
Caregivers are asked to participate in the program with their children -- it will be as important as ever to model movement and song for your little one during this virtual session. Plan to join in, sing along, and move around!
Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins.

The goal of this project series is to tell the stories of species extinction, the interconnectivity of various life forms, and the art of living together by creating a multi-media presentation using a combination of traditional Chinese papercut, watercolor, poetry, video, and digital animation. Create your own style of storytelling using any combination of these mediums!
Workshop Materials List:
1. Chinese white or red rice paper OR tissue paper
2. A pair of pointy scissors
3. Any watercolor/ watercolor set (optional- only if you are interested in coloring your papercuts.)
About the Teacher:
Zhonghe (Elena) Li is a multi-media artist. The motivation behind her creativity has consistently been her love for nature’s diversity and her profound concern about the environment, species extinction, and humanity’s future.These workshops are supported in part by the Cambridge Public Library and in part by a grant from Cambridge Arts, a local agency that is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
