Find Pools & Waterplay Features in Cambridge

Explore options to stay cool this summer by visiting a local pool or enjoying waterplay features in parks around the city:

  • Gold Star Mothers Pool, located at 123 Berkshire Street, is open for the Summer 2023 season (view open pool hours). Cambridge residents are invited to enjoy free open swim at the facility, which features two ADA-compliant pools. Have fun and explore aquatics in the Beginner Pool and practice your strokes in the Lap Pool
    • Capacity is limited at the pool.
    • Gold Star Mothers Pool will be fully staffed with lifeguards during open swim. Rules and regulations will be enforced for the safety of all individuals on the pool deck and in the water, and patrons will be expected to follow pool rules and respect the authority of all lifeguards and Aquatic Staff on duty when on the pool deck and in the water.
  • Veterans Memorial Pool, located at 719 Memorial Drive. Operated by Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. (view pool hours and other information)
  • Waterplay Features at Parks & Playgrounds across the city are a great way for kids to cool off and have fun! All City Waterplay facilities are free and now open for the summer season. Children of all ages can enjoy waterplay (splash pads, spouts, sprinklers, and more!) at the following Cambridge parks seven days a week:
