Gold Star Pool Open for 2023 Summer Season

Gold Star Pool

Gold Star Pool, located at 123 Berkshire Street, opened for the 2023 Summer season on Saturday, June 24.

Summer 2023 Open Swim Hours through Monday, September 4:

  • Monday–Friday: 2 – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday–Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m
  •

Cambridge residents are invited to enjoy open swim at the facility, which features two ADA-compliant pools. Have fun and explore aquatics in the Beginner Pool (maximum depth of 3-6 ft.) and practice your strokes in our Lap Pool (or get relief from the heat by jumping into the Lap Pool’s 10 ft. deep end!).

Gold Star Pool will be fully staffed with lifeguards during open swim. The pool’s rules and regulations will be enforced for the safety of all individuals on the pool deck and in the water.

In addition to open swim, Gold Star Pool provides morning swimming lessons to local camps.

Weather Policy: Gold Star Pool is open during rain. In the event of lightning, all staff and patrons go inside of the facility and wait inside for 30 minutes from the last lightning strike before being able to return to the pool.

Gold Star Pool is open through Monday, September 4, 2023. The War Memorial Recreation Center pools will reopen for Adult Lap Swim, Family Swim, and swim programs beginning the week of September 5. View the Fall 2023 War Memorial Recreation Center Pool Schedule
