Cambridge’s two-way bike lane on Brattle Street now spans the entire length of the street, connecting Harvard Square to Mount Auburn Street.

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the week due to several community events. These include Haggerty Day, the Greek Festival, the US Army’s 250th Birthday, Hoops ‘N’ Health, 617 Day Block Party, and the Juneteenth Parade and Celebration.

Homeownership Program Review
As part of the ongoing Homeownership Program Review process, the Housing Division is inviting current owners of affordable homes to attend an information and feedback session. Families and Community Invited to Pfizer Vaccine and Flu Clinics at King Open School on Nov. 10 and Dec. 1
Students, families, and the community are invited to get their free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the King Open School located at 850 Cambridge Street. Flu vaccine, including FluMist and high-dose vaccine, will also be offered.
Cambridge Public Health Department Shares Information about COVID-19 Cases Linked to Summer Program
The Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) recently identified 32 cases likely connected to a children’s summer program in Cambridge. Of these cases, 20 were among students attending the program (all under age12); 3 were among staff and interns; and 9 were among household contacts of staff and students. Children and staff in the summer program were following proper mitigation measures, including wearing masks and washing their hands frequently. Several cases associated with the cluster were sequenced and identified as Delta variant cases.
