Homeownership Program Review

As part of the ongoing Homeownership Program Review process, the Housing Division is inviting current owners of affordable homes to provide input on proposed recommendations for program changes.

How to Give Input

Written Comments

If you would like to provide written comments on the proposed recommendations, please submit them to homeownership@cambridgema.gov , or mail or drop them off to the Community Development office at:

Survey

Owners with an email on file will receive a link to take a brief survey to gather additional feedback on the proposed changes. If you have not received the survey link and would like to participate, please contact us at homeownership@cambridgema.gov

Information and Feedback Sessions

There will be four Information and Feedback Sessions for current owners. All sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. The sessions will include an overview of the proposed recommendations and a comment period: 

Overview of Proposed Recommendations

The first part of the session will be an overview of the proposed recommendations based on the information found here. There will be an opportunity to submit questions about the proposed recommendations. 

Comment Period

The second part of the session will be an opportunity for owners to provide comments on the proposed recommendations. These comments will be shared with the Affordable Housing Trust. Owners do not need to attend a session to submit comments; written comments may be submitted to homeownership@cambridgema.gov. All comments received by January 4, 2024, will be shared with the affordable Housing Trust prior to further discussion of the program changes.

Register to Attend Feedback Session

To register for an information and feedback session, please select one of the registration links below. All sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. They are expected to be 1.5 to 2 hours long. Pre-registration is required and is limited to current homeowners only. Please register for only one of the four sessions.

Tuesday, December 5 - start time 5:30 pm

Saturday, December 9 - start time 10:30 am 

Monday, December 11 - start time 6:00 pm  

Thursday, December 14 - start time 6:00 pm
