Join Central Square's cookbook club! This month, we're cooking from Everything's Good: Cozy Classics You'll Cook Always and Forever: A Cookbook by Toni Chapman. We view all attempts to educate, promote healing, and support the economic stability of individuals and communities as prevention strategies. To that end, we support organizations who already do this work to incorporate conversations about DGBV and skill building around healthy conflict and communication. We promote strategies that will not cause further harm to communities in their attempt to help.

Join S-Cube Diplomacy and the O’Neill Branch Library for a multigenerational STEAM program exploring how plants, pollinators, soil, and people work together in a healthy native garden. Families, youth, adult learners, and community members will learn how pollinator gardens support biodiversity, climate awareness, and neighborhood connection through storytelling, observation, and hands-on reflection.

Response to Cambridge City Council Awaiting Report Item Number 20-41, regarding a report on the feasibility of an alternative Public Safety Crisis Response System, received from Police Commissioner Branville G. Bard, Assistant City Manager for Human Services Ellen Semonoff, Chief Public Health Officer Claude Jacob and Director of Emergency Communications Christina Giacobbe.

Are you interested in learning about green jobs? Would you like to connect with local employers and training providers? Attend the Green Jobs Career Fair on Wednesday, June 3 at Joan Lorentz Park, 449 Broadway, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.! This free event is open to Cambridge teens (ages 14 and older) and adult residents who want to explore local green job pathways.

Raymond Park, located at 106 Raymond Street in Neighborhood Nine, is scheduled for renovations beginning in November 2025. Planned improvements include: Improved circulation and more accessible pathways New playground equipment An expanded basketball court Drainage improvements and rain gardens Additional seating and gathering areas New trees and plantings Learn more about the community and design process here.

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for our monthly evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required.
