Drop-in Maker Studio (O'Neill)
Come to the Library to create something special! Use your own supplies or try out our equipment! You can use our 1-inch button maker, 2.5 inch button maker, 3-D Doodle pens, or Janome sewing machines. The Library will provide basic supplies.
This drop-in program is for people who feel comfortable using these machines on their own. The Library will not provide instruction. Anyone wishing to use the sewing machines must have completed a Sewing 101 training through the Library. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
CANCELED Evening Story Time (Valente)
We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for our monthly evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required.

This month, we're celebrating sweet treats and desserts! Bring a dish to share, or just come to talk about your experience with a chosen cookbook. No need to bring a dish to join.

9-11 Remembrance Ceremony - 2023
Please join with us to remember the victims of the attacks of September, 11, 2001.
A brief, respectful remembrance ceremony will be held at each City firehouse on Monday, September 11, 2023 starting at 9:50 a.m. Everyone is invited to join with firefighters participating at Fire Headquarters at 491 Broadway or at your neighborhood firehouse.

Face Coverings
The City of Cambridge issued an emergency order requiring that face masks or coverings be worn in indoor public places. The order takes effect at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021. It applies to everyone over the age of two years old, with exceptions in alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines.

Turkish Music with the Neva Trio (Valente)
Join us for a special performance exploring the rich musical dialogue between Turkish folk and classical traditions. Featuring multi-instrumentalists Volkan Efe (oud, kanun, ney, yaylı tanbur), Fatih Acun (bağlama, oud), and vocalist Ezgi Kurt, this concert presents a program rooted in cultural heritage of Turkiye.
